You won't find just one playground at Reid Park. Your kids have the pleasure of running and skipping through four playgrounds at this green leisure land. One of our favorite features is the duck pond, where, if you look long enough, you might see Nemo floating by on his way back from school or Howard the Duck walking by. OK, maybe not, but there are plenty of real animals nearby at the zoo. With more than 400 animals on the grounds, you'll see rhinos, elephants, anteaters and even polar bears. If you are looking for a place to hold your child's next birthday party, stop the search. Bring the Birthday Girl on over. She'll find Heaven in this midtown oasis.
