Through no fault of their own, unidentifiable pets cry themselves to sleep night after night, their spare, crowded cells filled with others' frantic barking. Hopelessness shadows their sad eyes; their hearts are broken. Volunteers can cheer them up and make them feel loved. They also do the important work of keeping pets socialized so they'll fit into a new forever home. HSSA offers volunteer opportunities that give more in love than they take in time.
