No matter what’s on menu, Mi Nidito would
remain famous due to President Bill Clinton’s
visit there 12 or so years ago. Fortunately, Mi
Nidito also has some seriously tasty—but still
tourist-friendly—Mexican food. The buttered
tostadas are melt-in-your-mouth sinful,
especially when topped with the famous carne
seca—a hard-to-find item outside of Tucson.
One of the few spots in town with nopales and
menudo on the menu all the time, Mi Nidito is
sure to impress your out-of-town guests with
a taste of the Southwest. And who knows? You
might even spot a celebrity or two.
