Due to recession-related cutbacks, some of us no longer have cable, and have to rely on broadcast stations alone for entertainment and news. Luckily for us, there's KOLD Channel 13, with its pleasant but never-too-perky news anchors, who deliver the news and weather with knowledge and charisma. Who needs cable TV when you have people like Chuck George, Heather Rowe and Dan Marries? Each newscast is polished, professional, informative and, to use a journalistic buzz word, balanced. Whatever that means.
