Whether you're young or old, the Reid Park Zoo is still a favorite among families and it's no wonder. Families can explore different pathways that will lead you to Tanzania Expedition, where elephants are free to roam or, you can head on over to where the giraffes are, where both parents and children can feed the giraffes together. Just a heads up, make sure you visit the animals early in the morning or prior to closing; they tend to be most active at that time. Also, there is a daily schedule at the zoo gate for Keeper Chats, training demonstrations and other activities for kids just in case you need more to do.
