It's Luke's! It's eegee's! It's Luke's! It's eegee's. What a dilemma! Both these local "chains" put out damn good fries, and each has its own set of fans. Both places serve their fries all hot, sizzling and salted just so, to the point that they barely need ketchup (and, please, no ranch dressing!). Yes, they are greasy, but in a good way. And oddly enough, the signature sandwiches (the Italian beef at Luke's and the grinder at eegee's) seem to be the perfect foil to the taters. Tucsonans should consider themselves lucky to have two hometown places serving such delicious fries.
