Coffee Etc. won numerous Best of TucsonTM awards in its heyday. But then it closed. Now, Coffee Etc. is back. Granted, it's a bit different in menu, décor and neighborhood, but the coffee is the same, and that's what counts. Eric Sahner, a roaster at the previous incarnation, bought the machines and started wholesaling the beans a little more than a year ago. A short while later, his wife, Ivonne, opened the café. The new menu features interesting sandwiches, an assortment of sweet goods, soups and the newest addition: quiche. Still, there are all those coffees Coffee Etc. made famous: African thunder, Boomer's choice, dark star and coffee Azteca, as well as coffees by region, roast and flavor.
