READERS' PICK: You're throwing a garden party or singing the wedding-bell blues. Just this once, shake off your inner Elvis, stow the cocktail weenies and jars of teeny-tiny sweet pickles, and bring on the pros: Ron Wassell and crew, who've made a highly evolved art form of pretty food that's good to eat--a little cilantro- and thyme-studded soup here, some marinated lamb there, maybe a nice Asian noodle salad over there. It ain't your usual peanut butter, nanner 'n' bacon sandwich, though Blue House would probably whip you up a batch if you asked very nicely. Party-givers and partygoers have been singing Blue House's praises for the last five years, and deservedly so.
