Rillito River Park Trail

Readers Pick

The Rillito River Park Trail runs from Craycroft Road to Interstate 10 on both banks of the Rillito River. Since much of it is paved, the trail is ideal for the casual cyclist who wants to avoid motorists. Paved areas are for "all users," including pedestrians and equestrians. The trail is popular in part because numerous parks—including Brandi Fenton Memorial Park—are adjacent to the trail. While cyclists should always carry water, of course, one will find the occasional water fountain and restroom along the way. The trail offers an enjoyable motor-vehicle-free ride without leaving town, from dawn to dusk.
