Bat Bridge Discovery

At 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29, docents from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum are stationed at two "Bat Bridges" to answer questions about the thousands of Mexican free-tailed bats who take flight at sunset, around 7:30 p.m., nightly. The bridges are in the dry riverbeds at River Road and Campbell Avenue, and at Pantano Road and 22nd Street. Visit desertmuseum.org for more information.
