Check out one of the Old Pueblo's newest musical additions this Sunday, Dec. 13 at Kon Tiki (4625 E. Broadway Blvd.). The Surfbroads, comprised by Amy Mendoza (Amy Mendoza Band, Sugar Stains), Jillian Bessett (Jillian and the Giants) and Velvet Hammer (Sugar Stains), will make their debut at the tiki cocktail bar amidst the massive scorpion bowls and navy-strength mai tais. Joining the new band will be local favorites Katterwaul and The Electric Blankets. The show begins at 6 p.m. and there is a $5 cover. It is a 21 and over event.
