Steff Koeppen releases her new solo work.

Grab your Valentine and head to Club Congress (311 E. Congress St.) on Sunday, Feb. 14 for a full night of sunny, poppy jams presented solely by Arizona artists. First and foremost, local favorite Steff Koeppen of Steff and the Articles will be making her solo debut. To "Celebrate" the release of her new seven-song album, Games We Play, Koeppen will be premiering her new songs live for the first time. While her work with the Articles showed her jazzier, piano-centric performing style, Koeppen's solo project is all about bright, synthy pop tunes with infectiously catchy choruses. It will be interesting to see how Koeppen translates this different style on stage.

Northern neighbors MRCH (which features Mickey Pangburn of The Prowling Kind) will be opening the night's concert along with locals Head Over Heart. The show begins at 9 p.m. The concert is free and it is a 21 and over event. For more information on this and other upcoming Club Congress shows, visit www.hotelcongress.com.
