STROKE OF GENIUS

Club Congress (311 E. Congress St.) likes to play host to a range of genres and styles of music, as we all know, but Monday, Nov. 9 will bring something a little classier to the downtown venue. Led by the brilliant cellists in both Mother Falcon and Ben Sollee, you can expect lush, bright and intricate music in the style of classical-meets-indie composers like Owen Pallett, Andrew Bird, Sufjan Stevens and Kishi Bashi.

Be warned though, this is an early show so you'll want to get there right at 7 p.m. so you don't miss a note. Tickets are available online in advance for $12 or at the door the day of the show for $14. It is an all ages concert.e
