Sometimes, you just want to dance. I get it. Why not indulge your baser instincts and get down to some sick electro bass beats when DJ Nathaniel Knows takes over the Rialto Theatre (318 E. Congress St.) for a special dance party. The ex-pat Tucsonan is known for his producing and mix-making skills, as well as his controversial presence on social media. With a focus on EDM (electronic dance music, for the squares) and influences in both trap and deep house jams, Knows knows how to get people off their asses and moving. Joined by a bevy of local DJs, including Bob Really?, A.Shuta, Jalph and Dan H., the night promises a full and varied evening of robot music. CREAM Design and Print will be screen printing at the event and The Bloom Booth will set up shop with a photo booth.
Future Sounds presents the Pop Up Dance Party on Friday, Aug. 21 from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. Tickets ($5) and more information can be found online in advance at www.rialtotheatre.com. It is an 18 and over event.
