B-Sides: DJ Bijou

Kick off your three-day weekend with a heavy dose of dance music when local DJ Bijou takes over Solar Culture Gallery (31 E. Toole Ave.). Blending familiar rhymes from hip-hop heavyweights like Ice Cube and NWA as well as newer rappers like Gucci Mane, Bijou's trance style offers something you probably already know and love, but morphed into another completely different thing that demands you get up and move. And, move you will, as the night's show runs from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. on Saturday, July 2 with support from Decadence, Lephan, DJ Donatello and DJ TYLR. The event is 18 and over. Tickets ($15) are available through Specto Entertainment at spectoent.com.
