B-Sides: Anthony Fierro Memorial

ALL FOR ANTHONY

b-sides_anthony_fierro.jpg

Although the Tucson community lost Anthony Fierro nearly a month ago, his absence is still strongly felt both at his former workplace, Hotel Congress, and, of course, among his family and friends here and abroad. At just 27 years old, his death was jarring and tragic. Not to mention Fierro was just one of those people that everyone seemed to get along with and he was a genuinely sweet dude. To say he is and will continue to be missed is an understatement.

This Friday, Feb. 5, you can join his Club Congress (311 E. Congress St.) compatriots in celebrating his life with a concert in his honor. Prom Body, Sur Block, Grite Leon and Rey Murph will be performing for the event. A $5 minimum donation is required, though additional donations (all of which go toward Fierro's funeral costs) will be accepted at the door. It is a 21 and over event.

Rest in peace, Anthony!
