Art Inspired by Emily Dickinson

UA art professor Barbara Penn presents a slide show and talk about her body of visual art based on the life and writing of Emily Dickinson, at 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21. $5 suggested donation. Eva Heisler, a poet, scholar and art critic who teaches in Germany, discusses visual artists who have been influenced by Emily Dickinson, at 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22. Her book Reading Emily Dickinson in Icelandic is being published in Tucson by Kore Press. $5 suggested donation.
