Arizona State Museum

Families enjoy "Discovery Hunts" in the galleries, including a Look-and-Find Object Picture Hunt for ages 4 through 8, and Focused Discovery Hunts for ages 7 and older in the Paths of Life exhibit, which features six Native American tribes; all materials are provided. Kids age 9 and older who have access to a smart phone or tablet can play QR Code Museum Quest. From 10 a.m. to noon, and 1:30 to 4 p.m., every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in July, a docent leads hands-on cultural activities and crafts in the lobby. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday; $5, free for kids younger than 18, active-duty military and their families, people with business in the building and everyone for public events.
