Arizona Launch Party for Label GMOs
Label GMOs Arizona Initiative gets under way with a concert, a non-GMO farmers' market, one-on-one gardening tips, a pool tournament and a non-GMO Trivia Challenge with a $25 gift card from Brooklyn Pizza for the winning team, from 5 to 9 p.m., Monday, July 1; free. Live music is provided by Van's Guard, The Natives are Restless and Rockers Uptown. Speakers include Tom Mendola of Sustainable Tucson and Nicolas Guillermo of Activism Truth and Label GMO Foods Arizona.
