      <![CDATA[It's been forever since I've followed Bitcoins, but I'm pretty sure the currency cannot have a central controlling bank by design (or flaw depending on your point of view). While the price was relatively stable when they first came out, a few years ago you were hearing about constant runs and collapses when several of the main exchange sites were hacked.
