There are people who say that they will not vote for Obama because he is "black" but in a number of polls that have been done this number is only around 4% of voters nationwide. In the same polls an aggregate of nearly 20% of voters say that they would not vote for a Mormon candidate, around 10% of independent voters say they would not vote for a Mormon..

That’s because many of them sincerely believe that women that are raped provoked the act and that pregnancy is God’s punishment.

They also will vote for Romney because they hate the Federal government, despite the fact that most of them are virtually dependent on its support.

I do have a brother-in-law who’s a big Obama supporter. I asked him why there is such hostility toward Obama.

“Come on, you know why - it’s because he’s not white.” he said.
