This is typical USAmerican barbaric bullsh*t.  <br>

I'm reminded of my visit to Amsterdam, another perfect bicycle town. In order to make it easier for folks to ride bicycles, the city bought a whole bunch of bicycles, painted them yellow and set them out so folks could just grab an unoccupied yellow bicycle to ride and leave it at their destination for the next person.<br>
<br>
After a while, some kids thought it funny to kick the crap out of yellow bicycles (you couldn't really sell them because they were YELLOW and there were so many of them so there was NO MARKET!).
