      <![CDATA[Zack/Dylan: Fair points, for certain, although I will say we're actually trying to improve the reader's experience all the time, and, as far as I'm concerned, backgrounds and pop-unders aren't ideal, but at least they don't prevent you from seeing what you came here for. For obvious reason, I understand that _most_ publications with presences online need to find a way to actually pay for that presences (if not make money), but there are certain types of advertising that cross a line.

Take, for example, the entire background of <a href="http://tucsonweekly.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">TucsonWeekly.com</a> suddenly being a gigantic advertisement for Shrek the Musical.
