Hmmm, only more Obama bashing here by the pro-Drumpsters? They all seem to forget that the economic recession that Obama had to fix was caused by the policies of Republican George Bush. Obama did his job so well that Trump was gifted with an expanding economy, that Drump now takes credit for.
These writers above don't seem like 1%-ers to me. When they find their taxes being raised, and their individual standards of living declining, because of the Republican tax bill being shoved through Congress right now, they will learn that elections do indeed have consequences, especially when you weren't really paying attention to the issues.
Martha's problem is that her core support lies outside of central Tucson in the 'burbs, yet she also represents blue Tucson. Her votes show that she aligns herself with the thinking of rural Arizona, so she's walking a tight rope here to maintain her seat. She's always on the fine edge of losing, hence her non-committal answers and lack of townhall meetings. This is not the way Gabby represented us. You won't see anything different until the seat is in the "D" column again.
Turk, ACA would work fine if we got everyone on the program. Right now, it was cheaper for the young to take the tax penalty instead of insurance. So, some insurers lost money and left the program.
My god, you'd think in a blue place like Tucson and in a left wing newspaper, there would be no question of undivided support for PP. OK, for the uneducated commenters on here, let's review one more time: PP NEVER uses taxpayer money for abortion services; contraception prevents abortion; PP provides low-cost, long-acting, 100% effective contraception to low income women who otherwise might get pregnant and seek abortion.
Wheeler, in this case you were non-thinking or deceived. With a little bit of consideration, anyone can see Proposition 123 is clearly a ploy to give Arizona Republican fat-cats yet another tax cut. If it passes, Ducey will say education is fixed for 10 years or more, and taxpayers are eligible for a new tax cut. We are going to have to send our kids to California to be educated.
