Im thrilled with the Vibe. Its at 4.4 overall, its best showing that i can remember. If it gets into the 6 plus overall ratings area they may have to change signals with another station. 97.5 is very limited, city grade signal only. Maybe 107.5 could trade places?
Im not saying that would happen but if ratings keep going up for the,Vibe that could very well happen.
I also called 92.1 FM and suggested they flip formats similar to the vibe. Their station is 2.7 overall. It would make sense, their signal is way more powerful in coverage than 97.5. Its a waiting game. Give it 2 more books and we will see if the Vibe is hype or a real deal that is catching on.
You cant tell how a station ranks from the meaningless overall ratings of 6+. Thats why they are givin away free. You need to see the breakdown of 18-34, and 25 to 54 age demo to see how it's affecting KIIM FM. And where the listening audience is going. I highly doubt WILD Country with its limited signal range is affecting KIIM FM greatly.
