A similar story in the New Herald on line (http://www.havasunews.com/news/arizona-state-board-of-education-to-review-common-core-standards/article_2b1f169a-edbd-11e4-ad90-037c3270c0f1.html) says "before the end of the 2015 school year," which could be taken to mean the 2015-16 school year rather than the current school year.
To me it's a stretch to expect that a conscientious and complete review and revision or replacement of the AzCCRS could be accomplished during the next 3 months.
