Martha McFOLLY likes to "say" she "represents" district 2, but she's nothing more than a toady for Paul Ryan. Yeah, easy to ruin our access to health care when the military has her covered.
Who does McSally represent anyway? The voters of Arizona CD2? Or the entities pouring "yuuuge" sums of money into her campaign coffers? I would say the donors. How is it in YOUR best interest to lose your health care coverage? Breathe polluted air and drink toxic water because industries don't want to clean up their own messes? Or, not stand up to drumpf by voting to block the formation of a bipartisan committee to investigate Russian meddling in our elections?
I read her votes in the Sunday edition of the Arizona Daily Star. It's not pretty if you're an ordinary American citizen.
For all of you who DON'T believe racists turned out to vote for drumpf? Just wait until news coverage airs of the march planned KKK in honor of the donald inauguration. I wouldn't bet on my predictions, but will make one anyway. All the haters are going to be partying in the streets on January 20.
Just read that in my hard copy of the Tucson Weekly.
I would add that a brilliant scientist was killed last year while riding his bicycle by a driver who was texting! And the judge banned her from owning a cell phone for two years. Needless to say, the cycling community erupted into a worse rage than a The Donald rally.
Years ago, when Al Melvin was my state senator, he was working with Steve Farley to pass a law to ban texting and driving. And I sent him encouraging emails. Alas, it was to no avail then, Texting while driving turns lethal all the time. You would think the bonehead Arizona state blech-islature would do something about it. Make it a primary offense and have law enforcement enforce it.
100 % of the precincts have reported. But not all the ballots have been counted. IMHO, every time McSally was asked a question, she usually responded by bitching about Barber. Not the stand she would take on the issue. Two years ago, she answered and sounded like a Tea Partier. She came back this year with better hair and clothes. And a new spiel which basically told us nothing of how she'd vote. She was either hiding that she's turned into a moderate. Or that she still thinks along tea party lines. I think the latter is more likely.
The Republicans and Democrats are no different? I beg to differ. Which party has been infested by the Tea Party? I remember the uneasy feeling I had in 2008, midst the exuberance that Obama beat McCain, that all the moderates of the Arizona Republican party had been defeated by Tea Partiers in the primaries that year. The hard-right (McCain's own words in 2000) cling so rigidly to "Ideological Purity," they are incapable of working with anyone else.
I called him "Doug Dookie" at first, but Douche-y works just as well. Before Danehy even wrote this, my line for people griping "what good does voting do?" is "a year from now, I do NOT want to be pining for the good ol' days of Jan Brewer."
