This connection they had between them as well as with the audience is what drew me to them to play at my wedding in 2008. They played the day before, the wedding and the reception and infused the event with their particular joy. I saw them two years later at the Copper Queen where I bought their CD and they signed it for me. My marriage like the two of them is gone, but these two wonderful people will stay in the hearts of all who sat entranced by their music. Rest in peace dear Amy and Derrick, and my heart goes out to their families.
Oh no. They played for my wedding and on my second anniversary we listened to them play at the Copper Queen Hotel bar and bought a CD from them. They signed it about how happy they were that we were still together. Sadly my love was cheating on me at that time, (unbeknownst to me), and I am now single. This just breaks my heart so much. I loved to hear and watch them play. Another huge void in the world. This is just too tragic.
