Mr. Haberman is doing exactly what we did in my neighborhood to defeat a 104' cell tower. That was in 1999, and I was approached by an industry executive to lead a neighborhood fight against the tower. He shared science from the 1990's proving the negative neurological and immunological impact on human beings, and the science has only grown stronger. It is difficult for some people to understand, because both the government and World Health Organization websites grossly downplay the risks. But one has only to look the the abundant conflicts of interests within the WHO, and understand how much the US gov't relies on wireless to fuel the economy. Yet the health risks are real, and must be considered extremely carefully. I organized a brain study of firefighters who lived in the shadow of a cell tower in 2004, and we found brain damage in all 6 men tested after 5 yrs of exposure. These are the strongest of the strong . . . what about women, children, and the unborn, as well as the elderly and those with impaired health? I urge you to fight this tower with everything you have. Mr. Garcia, any financial benefit for the church will be far outweighed by negative health consequences for you and other neighbors. This is deadly serious. In spite of the telecom industry influence in the WHO, they still voted RF (microwave) radiation a 2b "possible human" carcinogen. Is the risk really worth it?
