Those that have a problem with this policy should use the potty in their cave before going out in public. That way the rest of us can go back to not caring.
I bought a steak last week, not with SNAP but with my disability check. It was an $8.56 steak that went in sale for $5.56 and didn't sell by Wednesday so it got marked down another 50% so it was $2.76 this bill would ban my kind of thrifty shopping. You can't fix your ego by putting down those that need help, you can reveal who not to vote for.
Where does the intersection start, how wide is it, what's the speed limit, how long is the yellow, do I have to slam on the brakes and stop in the cross walk? There is a way to take days to figure this out, measure the variables figure out the point at which a yellow is too close to stop for, then paint a three foot wide yellow line across the street. No variables just a simple way of knowing where to stop. Some won't pay any attention, but it fixes some of the constitutional problems with the previous red light cameras. For those that are a danger to everyone else a reckless driving citation carries enough points to suspend a driving license.
When food makes you sick, and idiots and corporations won't allow labels on food you just got to wonder why. So why no labels, you can sell all that you want (to idiots) but label it. Or do you know something about it, that you don't want to label. The European Union labels it so any not here?
I am not impressed with how the government spends the money it already gets, yet the legalize and tax it crowd seems to think taxing marijuana will make every thing hunky dory. Graft. Corruption. Favorable rulings for industry over individuals, industry kicking back campaign contributions. Just say no, legal no taxes. Go away despots you're drunk on taxes. Remember the whisky rebellion, whisky tax to pay off the revolutionary war. Don't you think it's paid for yet, once a tax always a tax.
Yes, yes lets have medical marijuana. In the fashion that allows the most graft and corruption, then ban it again because of the graft. Prohibition does not work, is in fact more harmful than any drug. Those in favor of it, must also take the blame for cartels, graft and kickbacks. A flood of refugees fleeing drug war fallout, blame the prohibitionist, not the drugs.
@ sloride the Roger Rd. Plant is shutting down, the flow going on down to Ina Rd. The cost of building a pipe to carry a decent flow say 30 million gallons per day would be significant. Then there's the whole county owns the treatment facilities while the city owns the wastewater effluent. However there is a closer model, Tempe town lake. The problem being how to allow the river to run free after a rain but retain water or even flow the other three hundred and some days a year.
