"[A] sarcastic and self-deprecating pride that focuses almost entirely on the seemingly negative aspects of the city."
This is an apt description that can be applied to this song as well. I recommend this song as another uniquely Tucson song, that celebrates the city even while mentioning all of it's negative aspects. If "We Got Cactus" told the story of Tucson in 1985, this tells the story of the Old Pueblo in the Aughts. - And it ends in a rousing sing-along of local business jingles.

Re: “Tucson's 100 Essential Dishes”
I'm going to have to agree with Dan regarding May's. After the first year, the quality of the waffles drastically dropped. Did they get new waffle irons? Because they are no longer as light and crispy as they once were.
That said, I still go there just not as frequently as I once did.
