Well, thank you for sharing your chiclephobia, and warning the rest of Tucsonians who suffer from it. But perhaps the article shouldn't be under "Cinema", unless it is somehow an expose on the shift of standards on what passes as a "pretty good" movie. In that case, I will make sure that from now on I will judge a film on the amount of gum chewing being displayed.
The Socratic Paradox...as it pertains to Tucson - and some of its more idiotic residents.
An other insightful analysis:
One of my employees wanted to switch his land line and bundle it with his cable. So he called the cable company, and they verified his account pin number by his cell phone number they had on file. Then he gave them his current land line phone number he wanted to keep the same. Everything verified, no problems.
Until they hooked up his land line, they called in the CELL PHONE (!) number to disconnect the existing service, and use that as his land line number. Now, his cell phone carrier is charging him for early disconnection, he has two land lines paying full price, and no cell phone.
Ah, the wonders of private corporations' efficiency...
No Mr. Barber. You did not vote for a reasonable solution. You voter with terrorists!
What? Every law someone doesn't like, even when it passes both houses of Congress and found by the Supreme Court to be constitutional, they can hold the world economy hostage over it? And you think your action, what? Doesn't encourage them?!? Are you kidding!?!
And, are you trying to tell us that these terrorists would have done the same if there was a white guy in the White House? As if they care about a law that they, themselves wanted back in the '90s? What is wrong with you?!?
My wife and I worked our butts off for you to win your post, and now you spineless twerp have basically sided with reactionary traitors.
I will remember this next time you ask for my money and my time. Jerk.
Perhaps the best way to avoid stupidity is to realize that we are all stupid from time to time, and one of the causes of stupidity is ignorance. Point of fact? Perhaps Mr. Danehy you should educate yourself with the case of the "idiot" woman who burned herself with the hot coffee. Start by taking a look at the photos of her burned skin, and perhaps that will intrigue you to find out the particulars of the case. Only then you can make an informed judgement and use the example to lecture others on their incompetence. Anything less only shows the stupidity of basing an opinion on ignorance.
