My comment: Gay and Lesbians can now go from Living In Sin to ... we're not sure yet. Nothing significant will change in the lives of men and boys in Arizona who have been eloping for years. What will change is the livestyle of Divorce Attorneys and the Real Estate Agents selling them upscaled homes. But to have the first double-shotgun wedding in Arizona today that has to count for something.
Lead Me On was great. I agree if I never hear "Baby Baby" again it will be too soon.
I love Brenda Barton. Wish we had more like her.
Nintzel is unbelievable. Kozachik is full of himself and on a power grab. If there's a way to grandstand an issue for personal attention and political showmanship he'll find it. His core values revolve around the limelight, not around principles.
A lib reporter and 3 libs (1 a Tucson City Councilmember who is left of blue-dog Democrat) square off against 1 Conservative named Ash. Intrllectually this seems a reasonably fair balance.
I just got here but know both Pima and Tucson are on an unsustainable spending spree. Tucson is banking on a 'good faith guess' that the UofA will bail them out on the Modern Streetcar." Yeah. Good luck. The TEA in TeaParty means "taxed enough already."
My question I want to ask is a simple but important one. In China Brasil India and Japan no one in those educational systems are teaching Mexican-American Studies or the local equivalent of total Educational nonsense. Instead they are wasting students' limited and valuable time on not so feel-good but practical themes such as science, physics, chemistry, math, reading, writing, commerce, and so on. Yes they are even learning about how to subnet a 255 Subnet IP block or something else ultimately more relevant to success than MAS. I would like to point out that irrelevancy is the overall outcome determined for TUSD's MAS classes and so my question becomes if School Board members consider MAS relevant why should we consider them relevant? If the lovely and talented Mari Herreras is unwilling to ask this question directly of the candidates trust me she only need invite me over, and I will certainly ask the question. It needs to be answered.
