Liss, as an alternative Dan can attend the memorial service we hold annually on June 8th at Arlington National Cemetery where he can speak with USS Liberty survivors and our families in attendance.
That ceremony is held at noon in Section 34 of Arlington National Cemetery at the site of the USS Liberty mass grave.
We routinely invite many Members of Congress to attend and participate in our memorial services especially when they are held in Washington, DC. In the past 45 years not a single Member of Congress has attended.

Actually it wasn't random nonsense. If you listen carefully he was shouting about the USS Liberty. Attacked by Israel on June 8, 1967 the Liberty had her life rafts deliberately machine gunned in the water and was abandoned by the Sixth Fleet while the ship was still under attack and calling for help.
Senator McCain's father was responsible for the US Navy investigation and participated in the cover-up that continues to this day.
