ya know..ive had issues with overpaid city planners and stupid council members and yes, mayors, city managers and governors...since the 1970s. wasted funding for religious based laws, security laws and bring everyone down to the most stupid, laws (to protect the stupid...). but if y'all are comfy with em.....go on. im a native, I hate you for what you've done to this town. intellectualize, rationalize and minimize all you want, I don't need to be monitored, watched, or dogged. our local government does. our water does. our misuse of land, including what was state parks' land does. large talking folks, keep talking..about the future for your precious kids and grand kids. and be comfy knowing we're spending money and resources on insignificant laws and corrupt political pockets. did this address the issue? in a broad sense, ya.
I know...lets put a trolley in el rio and make everyone happy...build it, they will come, even with no parking.
trololo, really? you subject me to this? "you guys kiss an make up " I say as I run to the back room in tears.
In the words of Bette Midler, "If you don't get it, that's because you just don't get it."
Micky has a point, however, with the processes involved in driving I still encounter drivers who are; oblivious to traffic, control obsessed, with dangerously poor space /time values, and naturally, those who bring their personal problems to the road. I can't leave out medication, or even refusal to take medication......it's clear to me, we all need to be on bikes....how quickly can we make that law.
i've worked my whole life, often two jobs. i was disabled two years ago. because i'm single with no children i couldnt get medicaid, have to wait two plus years for medicare, and can't afford insurance. i look at the reckless, pointless spending, and all the people that can recieve medicaid, and this state in which i was born and raised makes me ashamed of it. future generations are now folks, dont have to wait.
piers was laughed at by larry, it was professionally personal and piers used this as part of his platform instead of seeing the laughter as it was meant. all that was really needed was a gong for bad performance, not deportation.
