Jim Terr is a native New Mexican who til recently lived (for 23 years) in Santa Fe. He is a singer, songwriter, satirist, and a video producer whose YouTube channel (HYMIEHYMIE) has over 400 videos and over 700,000 views. He is also an actor, who recently had a part in a Dutch indie film with Holly Hunter. His campaign website is http://www.JTAmerica.com Jim Terr's work has aired on the ABC, CBS, NBC/Mutual, Westwood One, BBC (British) and National Public Radio networks, Air America, Voice of America, the Larry King, Jim Bohannon, G. Gordon Liddy, Jim Hightower, Paul Harvey, Thom Hartmann, Peter Werbe, Mike Malloy, Dr. Demento, "Mountain Stage," Sam Seder, Jon Elliott, "This Way Out" and "Whaddya Know?" radio shows, NBC- and CBS-TV News, in film, and has been broadcast in over 20 countries. He wrote and performed the national jingle favorite, "Sing a Song of Snapple." (See http://www.bluecanyonproductions.com/satire.html#credits ) His personal / professional website is http://www.JimTerr.com At the top of his beefs, politically, is corporate and PAC funding of political campaigns, and the need for public campaign financing. Since no senator, congressman, or major presidential aspirant that he's aware of is advocating for this very obvious need, he thinks they are all basically full of shit on the most glaring issue. Hence he is running in the Arizona primary February 28, as a Republican just for added comedy value. He plans to do a feature film featuring, in part, his presidential run; trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcHQzbXx2jo

Re: “Project White House Beer Summit: A Great Convocation of AZ Presidential Candidates

Very nice photos by Zachary. They look like movie stills. Nintzel looks nothing like I would have expected. Sarah looks like a movie star - that really does look like a movie scene! Sorry I missed it. www.JTAmerica.com "A chicken in every garage!"

Re: “Project White House 2012: The Candidates

LOVE the answers to the spaceship question. Buncha comedians. Will you be publishing the answers to the other "probing" questions asked in your silly questionnaire?

Re: “Project White House: The Beer Summit!

Dear "Jack", if this was directed at me and my comment, I am not discouraged by your lack of enthusiasm. I agree with you that the political system is rotten, and our campaign style of lying like bastards to win votes (as I am doing) is enough to dishearten anyone. But give me a chance, man - have a beer with me, give me 5 minutes, and I will charge you up with a new, positive vision of America. Anyhow, as noted, I won't be there on Wednesday (oh - that's today!), so you're safe. www.JTAmerica.com

Re: “Project White House: The Beer Summit!

Although I am a presidential candidate in the February 28 race in the BEAUTIFUL state of Arizona (my FAVORITE state!!) I will be unable to attend the beer summit as I have urgent personal business in my home area (New Mexico, not NEARLY as nice as Arizona).

i.e., I am just returning from the World Economic Summit this afternoon, I have a conference call with the White House on policy matters at 2 pm (yes, they consult me all the time - for FREE the bastards! - and a video consult with The Pope ("Il Papa") at 4 pm.

Furthermore I do not imbibe, and I do not like small talk, but prefer heated political discussion in large public forums. I wish you all well. Please visit my campaign website, http://www.JTAmerica.com , to see what you're up against.

Remember, A Chicken in Every Garage, and If Elected I Will Not Serve. And remember I have a thick and damaging dossier on all the other "Project White House" candidates, so a little respect will be appreciated.

-Jim Terr, your truly awkward candidate for president.

Re: “Republicans Apparently Booing the Idea of Mexico Now

probably booing the idea of bringing up Romney's ancient family history. Though, regrettably, I missed this discussion, so this is the first I've heard about the booing.

Re: “Presidential Candidate Jim Terr: "I've Got Nothing Better To Do Between Now and November"

I do not consider Jews to be Christians, therefore I will regrettably be unable to support your campaign, and will soldier on myself in the service of the revival of a Moral and Ethical America. -R. Santorium
