Joe the plumber will get the support of Republican voters because they are a collection of mindless morons who don't have the intelligence to make a valid decision. I work with them and socialize with them and they are wooden-headed no-nothings who rely on their ideology to make all their decisions. They take the cowards way out so they can vote without having to use more than one brain cell to make a choice. When the workers of this country have been relegated to serfdom and the elderly are waiting in lines at soup kitchens run by the church and the sick have to rely on their own knowledge to get well maybe the wooden-headed 99% who vote for the Republican party will realize what they have wrought on this country.

Leave it to the morons in Arizona to legislate laws that are contrary to the United States Constitution. The Founding Fathers knew that religious leaders would try to hoodwink the citizens just as they have throughout history and now the Theocrats are trying to force their ideology on us all. The radical muslims in the middle east are no different than the radical christians in the United States. Both have killed to make their message relevant. They wont be happy until we live in a Theocracy and the church can dictate all the weird crap that they have been putting people thru for centuries. I believe in God but I don't want some bible thumping cretin telling me how to live my life.

If Connie and Shaba both die of grief within a year of being separated can the officials at Greed Park Zoo be accused of Murder since they were warned that it would happen. Are the officials at Greed Park Zoo so mentally deficient and morally bankrupt that they would separate Connie and Shaba after 40 years especially since the zoo used the emotional link between the elephants to extort millions of dollars from concerned citizens to keep the two together. Why don't the officials at the Greed Park Zoo take their degrees to the Chicago Stock Yards where their murder of innocent animals wont be noticed by anybody and they can kill to their hearts content without any criticism from the public.

Greed Park Zoo should send Susan Basford, Sue Tygielski, and Vivian VanPeenan all to the San Diego Zoo permanently and hire some compassionate individuals who are concerned for the welfare of the animals at Reid Park Zoo. These three woman have the collective compassion of a DEN OF COBRAS and speak out of both sides of their mouths with forked tongues. After EXTORTING MILLIONs from the Tuscon public in the name of keeping Shaba and Connie together now the three women are conjuring all sorts of stories to validate their justification for sending Connie away. If the people of Tucson allow this travesty to occur then it shows how shallow and soulless this city is. Tucson City Council actually put the ax to Connies neck when Ward 6 councilman, Steve Kozachik, railroaded thru the decision to get rid of Connie and any dissent was squelched. I thought that the Nazi Party was dead but according to the tactics of this hearing it is still alive and well in the Tucson City Council. If I had the strength and money I would file a lawsuit against Tucson City Council and Reid Park Zoo for extorting money from the people of Tucson to keep Shaba and Connie together then doing just the opposite. Connie and Shaba have been together for 30 years in a semi-concentration camp. It's bad enough that they have to live under the duress of such a limited space but now that they have bonded as family how can the emotional anguish be measured for both elephants if they are to be separated forever. If you want to see the grief and sorrow of elephants then watch the PBS show about "ECHO" an elephant matriarch who died at the age of 65. Weeks after her death Echo's oldest daughter would revisit many times the place where her mother died. The elephants at Reid Park Zoo have more empathy, sympathy, and compassion than the director and her minions.

Tuscon City Council and Greed (Reid) Park Zoo should be sued for extorting money from an unsuspecting public who thought their contributions were to keep Connie and Shaba together. After 30 years what idiot decided it's time to separate these two elephants. Most of the braindead flatliners making decisions that affect Shaba and Connie today were still filling their diapers when these elephants were first put together. I contend that Tuscon City Council and Reid Park Zoo have an overabundance of sociopaths who lack the capacity for compassion, empathy, sympathy, or humane treatment of animals. Because of the comment policy of this website I have restrained what I really want to say about the goons making critical decisions in this city.
