Wonderful to see you back, Tim, and fighting the good fight, as always.
Big trees, owls, bobcats, long-undisturbed acreage in the middle of town? I could care less about the house but I'm with Birdgrril on the value of the habitat.
Is the Arizona Inn *really* not making enough to keep the heirs comfortable?
Sadly, the storyline here is much too complicated for AZ voters to follow. Wing-nut funded by right-wing, "pro-woman" male hedge-fund manager laundering money from his son who got it from brokering inside info on some French roadbuilding outfit? Who's now being investigated by the French, for godsake? How could these people possibly have found their way to Phoenix, and what could they be doing here? Way, way too hard to think about.
Smart move. She might have ended up like a Chris Christie aide.
Agree 100% about Grill and Tucson shit-nostalgia. Grime, drunks and a patina of old cigarette smoke does not equal charm. Anywhere.

Thanks for reading!
I refuse to believe that the Carreons are real. Their "name," for example, is an obvious anagram. ("Ore Narc!")
This "couple" and their absurd feud with the brilliant Matt Inman (the Internet's, funniest, most tireless advocate of correct spelling) is just another vile libel on Southern Arizona. Obviously.
Terrific article, Tim! Thanks.
