Mr. Longoria, the public was told that the PCC Board of Governors would not take a vote until Sept. on this very critical change to the College's admission regulations. Based on your commentary, it is obvious that your decision and thus vote is secured. You are a new board member and it is a shame that you are not open to how these changes will negatively impact your constitutients. I applaud that you truly believe you are dong the "right" thing for those who can't read and write at the "appropriate level" but the data you are basing your decision on is narrow and flawed. Unfortunately thousands of Pima County residents will pay the price for your decision.
