Re: “U.S. Supreme Court: Clean Elections' Matching Funds "Burdens Political Speech"

Bet the courts strike down any attempt by the state to change Tucson's system, since the voters approved it and the leg's other attempts to muck about in how we run elections have been shot down.

Re: “Pima County GOP Now Seeks Write-In Candidate for Mayor

If they couldn't get 1060 valid signatures in 6 months, what on god's green earth makes them think that they can get that many folks to actually write a name on a ballot in 20 days?

Re: “Tucson Mayoral Candidate Marshall Home: "We Are American Freemen"

Well, I do blame the state legislature for many things wrong with Arizona, I am not sure they are to blame for Home &tm; being bankrupt.

Re: “Tucson Mayoral Candidate Asta May Face Petition Challenge

Dan, try living without a loved one for 17 years when that person's life was taken by someone that clearly did all he could to avoid getting caught and shows no real remorse. Asta tried to ignore that the event ever occurred when he first announced, instead focusing on steak-gate. When it all came to light, he tried to push blame on the victim. And based on his driving record since that wreck, he didn't learn his lesson. It is amazing he hasn't killed anyone else!
