No Russell you got it all wrong....electing Gore instead of appointing Bush would have prevented 9/11 which was a Bushie conspiracy to put american boots on the ground in the middle east part of the neocon strategy for securing oil, protecting saudi arabia, implementing change and security in the region and finally dealing with the CIA creation the Taliban which had gotten out of hand.
