McSally will have to decide if vilifying a false enemy (the elusive undocumented gang member) to stir up hate to divide us like the Nazi's did, is more important than financial stability in this country. She has forsaken her supposedly deeply held fiscally responsible principles. Or can we say that as she chases the Senate seat, that her principles shift with the situation?
Interesting to always note how she promotes "women" when it makes her look good, but her votes and positions don't back it up. We have a whole website dedicated to this. www.representmeaz.com/issues
I agree with Steve Diamond. Her statement is appropriate for someone who is NOT in a position to actually do anything about the rise of Neo Nazi violence and a President who is supporting those groups. But McSally is in a position to do something about it. But as is her usual response, she is all talk and no action on issues of civil liberties that don't involve taxation and gun rights.
As a mentor of mine said of her; it's a tale of 2 Martha's. Honestly, if she would just be straight about her positions I could get back to my lovely life with a smattering of resistance thrown in.
But her disingenuous representation is intolerable.
The time to try to distance yourself from Trump was back in July once Trump won the nomination. But that would have taken courage; something I fear she lacks. Although she practically threatened my group who met with her in February saying that she isn't afraid of anything. She might have the kind of fearlessness that comes with handling a killing machine, but I'm not sure that courage translates in her case. Anyway, it's too late now. She's stuck with him like that Cheeto cheese that sticks to your fingers that you can't get off.
