Re: “Tucson City Council Wants Background Checks, But Gun Show Will Probably Go On Elsewhere

This is just another example of the never ending stupidity by the Tucson City Council ... I will never let a background check be done on me for buy anything! If I want a howitzer in my front yard, the US Constitution says that I can have one! All you idiots out there that don't understand the 2nd Amendment should go back to school and learn about it. The right to possess and have guns has nothing to do with hunting, it has everything to do with protecting yourself against our own government if necessary! So, let the stupidity stop! If anyone wants a gun, weapon, artillery, automatic weapons ... then buy God ... get them and keep them.

Re: “The Tucson Weekly Endorsement: Ron Barber

I can not vote for Ron Barber! He as the District Manager for Rep. Giffords failed to provide a security detail on 8 January 2011 which was his responsibility. He failed Rep. Giffords, was incompetent & negligent in not providing sufficient security to protect her and the constituents surrounding her. Such incompetence and negligence cannot be rewarded with greater responsibility. He has demonstrated his true dereliction of duty. I hope all will join me in not supporting this unworthy candidate.

Re: “Political Roundtable: Ron Barber vs. the Crowded GOP Field in CD8 Special Election, Higher Ed Reform (and Guns) at the AZ Legislature & More!

I can't vote for a man like Ron Barber. He was so negligent on 8 January 2012 that it contributed to the deaths of many a good citizen within Arizona's Congressional District #8. He could have ensured that a proper security detail was present on that fateful day, yet he did not. He knew that Rep. Gabrielle Giffords had many death threats against her and did nothing. He simply ignored the facts. "An once of prevention, is worth a pound of cure!"

Re: “Ron Barber Expected To Enter the Race To Finish Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords' Term

I think people are forgetting that this whole incident might have been avoided if Rep. Gabrielle Gifford's had better judgement and leadership! In the legal world, she might even be considered "Contributory Negligent" in that she failed to consider having Pima County or Tucson Police Department representation at her 8 January 2011 event. She turned down the recommendation that one or both of these entities should have been present for her and the protection of her staff and by public by standers.

Ron Barber is just as much to blame as he was doing the advising! Therefore, I would recommend that all aggrieved parties should formally sue Gabrielle Giffords and her staff for said "Contributory Negligence".

Re: “Mark Kelly: Gabby Wants To Get Back To Work

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was severely and significantly wounded on the 8th of January 2011 by a gunshot wound to the head. I pray for her quick recovery! Life goes on and "We the People" in Arizona's Congressional District #8 deserve to be actively represented by a duly elected official to the US House of Representatives.
