We have been going to Gueseppi for the last year or so. I wanted to add a current review here.
The food is really really good. I had the Shrimp Picatta last night. It had plenty of perfectly cooked shrimp, artichoke, spinach and capers in a wine butter garlic sauce and served over linguinni. This is one of the best restaurant dishes I have ever had anywhere. It was a special but they said to just ask for it anytime and they would make it. The eggplant parm here is also the best in town. The prices are very reasonable and service has always been great for us.
I really hate when people use the comment section to correct spelling!
So annoying, don't you have anything better to do? or better yet, think of an itelligent comment of your own. Here is my take....why do restaurants try to make such fancy food and charge such high prices? Most people like simple good food at a good price with excellent service. That's really not hard to do. It is a shame to see so many restaurants open then close because the lack of business or the "concept" wasn't right. I don't want to pay $14 for fancy tacos. (I think I spelled everything correctly)
This sounds awsome! I love New England food. Clam chowder with REAL clams, fresh oysters, lobster rolls and FRIED WHOLE BELLY CLAMS! I tried a deep fried lobster tail once. It was delicious, not greasy at all, moist and tender inside. I look forward to Jackson tavern.
How does this place rate so high? Must be be the cheapo prices. There are many better options. Healthy? My lo mein was swimming in oil. Stop voting this dive "Best of Tucson"
How can Lotus Garden not be one of the best Chinese restaurants???
That dirty dive joint Guillen gets votes every year for their cheap mediocre food.
I had the EXACT same experience when the restaurant opened. I have not been back. I wrote the owner a personal letter. I am sad to hear that little improvment has been made. This is a great location, my office is close by. No excuse for the lack of service, attention to detais, or making a BAD sandwhich. What the heck are they thinking? Do they every try their own food?
I had the chicken tacos today. Handcut chicken breast, cooked to order with that delicious mango salsa. The little stuffed pepper was really good too. Can't wait to try the fajitas.
Vito's makes great food. The pizza was very tasty. True New York style. Best I had in Tucson. The Italian Sandwich was really good, enough for two people. Made with delicious Boars Head meat on a Viro's italian roll with italian dressing...the perfect italian.
