I lived in Tucson for 38 years, I ate at Michas at least once a week for many of those years. The best breakfasts, best Chimichangas, best machaca in town. I left Tucson five years ago and one for the things I miss most is Machaca and Eggs at Michas.
About a year ago I made a brief visit to the Old Pueblo, Michas was still there, the food still good and now I miss it even more.
As one of the people founded the cooperative many years ago, I am pleased to see it has grown and evolved with the needs of the community.

If any of the new shops want specialty coffee from Boquete Panama, this ex Tucsonian grows gourmet coffee in Boquete. I doubt anyone has Boquete Coffee yet.
As one of the people who started the Food Conspiracy I am glad to see it is still thriving. It has come a long way from out weekend gathering of grocery lists and purchasing in bulk for distribution.
