Okay, you only want one political party & anyone who does not think the same as you on any subject is wrong & the edit jobs are to only make "the party"look good at any cost, the truth be damned is the norm....anyone who does not march in lockstep is castigated (ie; Joe Lieberman - outside thoughts & viewpoints will not be tolerated)...this is not the democrat party of the 60's & 70's that's for sure!
One vote by mail on behalf of a deceased family member + one vote at the poll + one provisonal vote at another poll.....Jesse loses by a 3 to 1 margin. What does voter fraud mean when it's for the good of the party - hail to the party!!!!!!!!!
To amplify and reiterate, think of Sen. Joe Lieberman;
For his willingness to be principled: Lieberman refused to toe the party line, says Jennifer Rubin in The Washington Post, in favor of "being true to his own deeply held principles." Of course, that means he became a villain to the left. But Lieberman "put country above party, practiced civility, and represented 'no labels'" better than any lawmaker in the U.S. "He'll be missed — by the Senate and the country," if not the still-bitter Democratic party.
I could see Barber also standing up for what is right & being crucifed as well. Because in this day and age you must rubber stamp what the party dictates not what you believe in.
It does not matter what Barber may or may not want to do. Even if all his supporters want him to represent them & vote a certain way - it won't happen. You say what? When the party sends out a note ordering people how to vote, Barber will have to vote the way the party wants him to. (ie; Obamacare those democrats who objected were browbeaten and/or bribed until they voted the way the party wanted them to. Remember Pelosi; you have to vote for it to see what's in it). So Barber may be a fine guy - but - that does not count when it comes down to the line where you don't tell the party no.
Not long ago some lady named Mrs Clinton moved from Arkansas to Washington DC. Later, she moved to New York for a short stay & ran for the senate & won! Then she moved back to Washinton DC. I would hate to see her called a carpet bagger - but - then again I am a moderate.
When the newspapers insult the readers - of course the readers are going to abandon them. When the newspapers are jacking up advertising rates of course they lose advertisers. So what do they do? Jack up the rates again and guess what happens, they lose even more advertisers.
The Arizona Daily Star has Fitz who will rewrite history to slam someone else. IE; his cartoon about about prohibition slamming the far right blaming them for it. Whereas in real life; Democrat President Woodrow Wilson signed it & the vote for it was 140 to 64 in the Democratic Party and 138 to 62 among Republicans. Then you get the Fitz readers who don't know he is lying VS the other readers who went to school who know he is lying. The point being, they too are turning off readers. Another Tucson Citizen? Many of us prefer to look at both sides and not blindly be a stooge for a political party where it is a anything for the party - hail to the party. Nope, not getting sucked into that like a Fitz.
