Regarding the comment on the unemployment rate, it is true that the labor participation rate has dropped since 2007, from about 66% to about 63%. However, most of this drop in labor force has been due to exits from retirement and disability, and not discouraged workers. http://www.ritholtz.com/blog/2013/12/on-th…
Accounting for only discouraged workers, we would see about a 1% increase in unemployment rate holding labor participation constant from 2007. So, this is a bump from about 6% to 7%, which is not nothing, but also not the 10% or so that Fox News would have you believe.
Re: #6 (speeding tickets)
Won't this just cause insurance companies to raise rates for everyone in Arizona across the board?
Are dogs allowed on these trails?
Bisbee boy, please Google "unfettered capitalism," read, enlighten yourself.
We can have capitalism without the 1% being the ruling class and the rest of us free to pursue the American Dream.
Pro tip: the economy is 2/3 consumption. A strong economy comes from working Americans being able to spend money. We had this for 30 years after WWII and we won't get back with Romney.
Sounds like an easy gig. Can't blame him abandoning ship.
