The Tucson Jewish Community Center really is the "Center" of the community. Operating under Jewish values and principles, the JCC is not a religious institution, but rather a cultural, recreational, educational, and social programs to the whole community.
Featuring something for everyone, from 6 weeks to 120 years, the "J" offers a nationally-accredited pre-school, full gym, tennis facility, cafe, auditorium/ballroom, fine art gallery and nationally-recognized sculpture garden. You can even have your wedding at the J!
Everyone is welcome at the JCC!
On behalf of the Jewish Community, I want to say that CUFI is wonderful!

Great work activists! You are doing the work of justice of humanity and of decency.
It is a shame and a discredit to your group that you chose to partner with Gabriel Schivone. Both the right-leaning Jerusalem Post and left-leaning Ha'Aretz newspapers have published allegations that Shivone lied about being Jewish while working with groups that are widely-viewed to be anti-semitic and terrorist-supporting as a way to gain credibility for these organizations. Peace comes through dialog - not hate!
Dump Shivone and your credibility will increase with the tens of thousands of Tucson Jews who support immigrant rights and peace but oppose name-calling, and fruitless divisiveness.

Baruch Dayan HaEmet.
May his memory be a blessing.
What a great man.
I have been praying for Howard's recovery since I heard about the diagnosis almost 2 years ago. Hershel Mayer ben Shimshon was his Hebrew name. Davening witout mentioning him will be strange.
