Well, what's there is better than "absorbent", which was what I saw this morning. :-)

Massachusetts still has a lot of people who refer to a soda as "tonic", and a milkshake as a "frappe" (pronounced "frap"). A hero/hoagie/sub is somewhere (Connecticut rings a bell) called a "grinder" - don't think that was on the video. And in all the concern for the pronunciation of "bag" they completely ignored the fact that in some parts of the country that would be called a "sack".
That ball must have been pretty hard. He really seemed to be worried a few times that he was going to get clocked in the head with it. But he handled it really well.
Some of it must have rubbed off, as we have very few ASU students coming and going. On the other hand, Phoenix and Tempe make up for that by not having a lot of UofA students coming and going either.
The Police Dispatch is one of my favorite columns from the Thursday newsletter! It's more a "best-of" rather than a complete log, but that means the work to find the gems has already been done.
(I'm out of town, so I don't see the print edition).
That doesn't sound like what they were saying a year or two ago, when DREAM legislation was actually in process.
