Had my daughter's birthday celebration at the Cup in April and as usual, we loved it! Great food, relaxed service and that great "downtown" experience!

The people HAVE SPOKEN, as it should be! Yay!
The sour grapes from the right is just what I expected. They are SO disappointed that the electorate is not the poor, uneducated, ignorant, uninvolved lot of sheep they are perceived to be by the Republican party and base. I predicted on this sight several weeks ago the voters would not go down the path to their slaughter again as they did in 2000 and am ever so grateful I was correct. Rock on Tom and Mr Grayson, go get yourself a blog where those of your own kind can enjoy your endless stream of vitriol. It's not appreciated here!
Jimmy, you've done a great job of giving credence to a news product that for many years was considered , and to some I guess still is, a commie rag. Your gift is to assemble a great team and just put the facts out there and let the chips fall where they may. I've been around Tucson for a lot of years and read the weekly now more than ever. I skip the more salacious parts but do log on every week to get the best in local political happenings and always a good story on something no other paper or outlet thinks to cover. I look forward to the restaurant updates/reviews and of course fresh, independent opinion from some smart individuals who know the area and what's REALLY going on and so much more. It takes a great editor to accomplish all that and you will be missed. Best of luck in your new venture and thank you!
My post is a little late but I just got around to it.... You're on point as usual Tom.....
The sad fact is that racism is alive and well in America and the kooks on the Right want to keep it that way. Since we now know the outcome of the election I do feel better today knowing Obama did win the popular vote as well as the EC. It doesn't change the fact though that the old guard Republican party will still try to block the work of the President. It is however abundantly clear that their evil ways MAY be wearing thin with the changing demographics of the electorate. At least I HOPE so!!!
As a "media professional" in Tucson for many years have I've had friends and acquaintances alike be grist ed through Oser's mill; have avoided it personally and always wonder if people out there are aware of the book: Do You Work for a Psychopath? It's available in the local library for free. Read it before applying......you were warned!
I went there while it was open last week; arrived at the drive up to find the sign not visible; went to the window and waited about five minutes until finally a woman came to open it and take my order. She shared with me that they "don't have their stuff together yet" then took at least another five minutes to produce a four ounce vanilla custard. She took my money, came back to the window with my change with a mouth full of food and stated things would be better on my return visit. There won't be one......
Our go-to place for authentic, traditional French food and service for over twenty years. We love the ambiance and the presentation. The food is consistently outstanding! Watch out for the desserts! Fab!
